2021 Calendar

Lesson Calendar is live!

Hello all! We just wanted to share with you that our 2021 Lesson Calendar is now active and you can find it below or at the bottom of our group lesson page. We are thankful that California deemed Swim Lessons essential and we couldn’t agree more!

Just because we are deemed essential, however, does not mean that we are going to go back to our traditional Group Lesson format just yet. Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our patrons and staff. We are proud to have zero covid cases traced back to our pool and intend on keeping it that way.

A lesson taken at AC Swim Club during this year will look very similar to what it looked like in 2020. The biggest difference for those who were not with us in 2020 is that our instructors will be out of the water on the side of the pool and an adult must enter the water with the swimmer for the lesson. Our instructors will teach from the side and adults will help/assist with the instruction when necessary. Don’t worry, the pool is heated and we will keep it warm enough for everyone!

Other rules to comply with for the safety of everyone include:

  • Adults and children must arrive and leave the pool in their swimsuit. Changing rooms are not open due to Public Health restrictions.

  • Masks or face coverings must be worn at all times except when in the water.

  • It is requested that you use the restroom at home before coming to the facility. If restroom use is necessary, 1 person (or one family unit) will be allowed in the restroom at a time.

  • Do not arrive earlier than 10 minutes before the start of your lesson. Please depart promptly after your lesson.

  • Participants must abide by social distancing guidelines (staying 6 feet apart) at all times.

  • All individuals planning to enter the facility must take their temperature before coming to the pool. If your temperature is above 100°F, do not come to the pool.

  • If any individual planning to enter the facility is having difficulty breathing, or is experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, sore throat, or a loss of taste or smell, do not come to the pool, and please contact your local health professional.

That is the gist of it! We will be taking lesson sign-ups on Feb 28. Spots fill up quickly so if you are interested, we recommend creating an account with us, which you can do here. As you finish creating your account, be sure to opt in to our emergency and informational emails by unclicking the box labeled “Unsubscribe from Email Blasts”. We will send out reminders to everyone before we open registration so you will be ready to go!
